You can get the viewers' password from the person who set up the wishlist account. For a child, that's usually one of the parents.
If you are the parent who set up the account and the viewers' password, and neither you nor the people you gave it to can remember it, you will need to re-set the password on the Update Your Account page. Remember to let everyone else know the new password too! They will not be able to view the wishlist with the old password once you've changed it in the account settings.
To view the wish list of your friend or family member, you'll need the person's username and a "viewers' password". If the wishlist owner is a child, you would usually get the secret viewers' password from the parents.
Type the wisher's username and your viewers' password in the form above, then click the View button.
Each wish in the list has a description. It might also have a rating, which lets you know how strongly the person wishes for that item - a 5-star wish is something the person wants very, very, very much! while a 1-star or no-star item might be something they just think would be nice to have.
Next to each wish, there is a Reserved field to indicate your intention to be the one to grant that particular wish. You don't need to say who is reserving it, just enter a code word if you prefer and then press Enter or click the Save button.
The reason for the code word is to distinguish your reservations from anyone else's. That way, if you later decide not to get that item after all, you can remove your code word without affecting anyone else's reservation.
If someone else already has a reservation for an item you wanted to get, obviously you should not replace their reservation with yours. But you could add your own reservation to that line if the wisher would like to have more than one of that item.
To view a different person's wish list, please log in again with that person's username and the corresponding viewers' password.
